Made from dehydrated soy protein, this is not only a gluten free and healthy recipe, but also a low fat way to enjoy tacos. - Taco Meat: Textured Vegetable Protein (Textured Soy Protein (TSP), or Soy Mince, TVP), Braggs liquid aminos (or tamari), water (or low sodium vegetable broth), nutritional yeast, Taco Seasoning: chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, smoked salt, cayenne (if you like spice), Add water, liquid aminos/tamari, and nutritional to a large glass measuring cup and add TVP. Add taco seasoning and mix well. If you do not have a large enough measuring cup, you can also use a microwave safe bowl. ; Add TVP/TSP/soy mince and mix. Microwave for 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can place the water, liquid aminos, nutritional yeast, and taco seasoning in a small pot on the stove. Bring to a boil. Add TVP/TSP/soy mince. Stir. Cover and remove from heat.
